Laurel Burch and her art have been a phenomenon since she first began handcrafting original jewelry
and selling it in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. From her humble beginnings as a 19-year-old single mother struggling to get by, over the next 50 years she became an internationally famous artist and designer with an instantly recognizable palette and style. Today, Laurel Burch's legacy endures as a testament to the transformative power of creativity and the human spirit. Her art continues to resonate with audiences of all ages, inspiring joy, wonder, and a sense of connection to the world around us. Her myth and magic live on.

A beloved San Francisco artist and philanthropist, Laurel's passion was giving back

Throughout her life, Laurel used her art to support and bring awareness to many causes to bring about positive change.
She passionately believed that through creative imagination almost any part of life’s journey–joyful or challenging–can be shared in meaningful ways. Her legacy lives on as we continue to give back to the causes she was dedicated to.
